Richard Tice admitted on Times Radio that Reform UK’s housing plans would put married couples ahead of single Brits in the queue for social homes.
Pressed on whether a married British couple would get priority over a single British person, Tice said: “Yes, that is the preference.” He claimed families – and specifically married ones – were “a good thing” and should be encouraged.
Tice doubled down, insisting it was “natural” for people to marry, have children and “contribute to their communities,” adding that Reform’s entire housing push was built around that ideal.
